Night at the Dogs Fundraiser in Dundalk Greyhound Stadium - Saturday, 26th February 2011

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintEmail

Down Syndrome Ireland and the Louth/Meath Branch are organising the above Fundraiser in Dundalk on Saturday, 26th February.  All profits will be shared equally between our Branch and Head Office.

There are 2 types of tickets available.  A
Family Ticket costs €20 for 2 adults and 4 children under 12 (Programme included) and the Standard Ticket costs €10 for 1 adult and 2 children under 12 (Programme included).   Doors open at 6.30 pm and the First Race is at 7.55 pm.   Each ticket has a Stub which allows you to enter the Gate Draw for a weekend away in Select Hotels so those not attending but who purchase a ticket can still be in with a chance to win by filling out the stub in advance and giving it back to the ticket sellers.

I have 130 Family Tickets and 230 Standard Tickets to sell.  They come in booklets of 10 Tickets and anyone who feels they would be able to sell Tickets for the Branch, please contact me as soon as possible.

We’ll also be selling Raffle Tickets at the Stadium.  So far prizes include an annual subscription to Setanta Sports and a large chocolate hamper from Novelty Goods with more prizes to follow.

There will Goodie Bags on the night.  We hope to have a variety of entertainment including a display of Irish Dancing, Face Painting etc.

I’m also looking for volunteers (especially from the Dundalk area) to help us on the night to sell Raffle Tickets etc.  We’re looking for raffle prizes, sponsors for races and also if anyone knows of a free band/disco or has any other ideas on how to make the night a great success, we would be delighted to hear from you.

If you would like to purchase tickets, you can forward payment to me at my address below and let me know which tickets you require.  I can fill out the stub for you if you’re not sure you’ll be able to attend and will have you included in the Gate Draw.

Further details can be found on DSI’s website and we’ll be keeping details up to date on our Branch Website and Facebook.

This promises to be a great social outing and its all for a very good cause.

You’d be barking mad to miss it!

Regards
