FoneAid - Fundraising through recycling used mobile phones

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintEmail

The Solanke Family has recently joined the Foneaid mobile phone recycling campaign to raise money for new equipment and activities; they have thus named Down Syndrome Ireland Louth/Meath Branch as one of the benefiting Charities. They are writing also to local business’ to find out if they would be able to help us to collect more old mobiles by getting their staff involved or seeing if they have any old mobiles in the office.

The phones collected can be of any age and any condition and as most people have at least one old mobile phone in a drawer at home, local business could help us immensely, simply by making all their employees aware of what we are doing and collecting their phones in for us. Not only will this help us to raise money, but 100% of phones we send to Foneaid will be diverted from landfill where they cause serious environmental damage.

Even if you are only able to collect one or two phones, they would all be appreciated.

Please contact Carolyn on 0851768466 or Oyinkan on 0874157909 to arrange collection / delivery of any phones you collect in.

If you would also like to know a bit more about mobile phone recycling please take a look on the Foneaid web site at www.foneaid.co.uk

Many thanks for your help and we look forward to sharing in the Joys of everyone by the end of the campaign in August.
